Snow Day Brooklyn, NYC

So today we were hit with a pretty heavy shot of snow... and I got to play hooky from work :o)

Instead of using the day to lounge around, I went totally against character and ran errands in the icky weather, lol.

I spotted the cutest family walking down the Eastern Parkway. They were all carrying brightly colored pool tires, probably for sledding. The colors were such a striking juxtaposition to the grey buildings and slush...I wish my camera battery hadn't died...
